ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS.
Day 1:
Pick up from your hotel in Zanzibar for morning flight to Selous (taking 50mins to 1 hour depending on the flight). - Upon arrival at Mtemere Airstrip in Selous, you will be met & greeted by our driver guide for a full day game drive; then drive to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
- After early breakfast, you will depart for an adventurous and a romantic sunrise boat safari along the Great Rufiji River to spot hippos, crocodiles and birds while enjoying the spectacular sunrise.
- Thereafter, you will be transferred to Mtemere airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar and transferred to your hotel.
Commonly seen animals in Selous: buffaloes, lions, giraffes, impalas, hippos, zebra, wildebeest etc
Occasionally seen animals in Selous: Elephant, wild dogs
Rarely seen animals Selous: Black rhino, hyena, leopard
